INFORMATION about flood defences for Northwich town centre will be available at a roadshow from Thursday, May 8, to Saturday, May 10.

The Environment Agency will be in Northwich Library, in Witton Street, answering questions and providing information about the defences, which are currently being designed.

Residents will also be able to find out what the flood risk is on their street and learn more about the things they can do to protect their families, homes and businesses.

The Environment Agency and Cheshire West and Chester Council have secured more than £4 million to build the flood defences, which will reduce the risk of flooding to around 700 homes and businesses.

The stand will be in the library foyer between 10am and 5pm.
