MARKETING Cheshire has launched its new corporate scheme for businesses across Cheshire and Warrington.

Its key aims are to build and strengthen business networks, and encourage companies large and small to work together to promote the Cheshire and Warrington as a great place to visit, invest and live.

All partners taking part in the initiative will be featured on the investincheshire.com web-site, which is being given a major makeover as part of the new corporate scheme and will provide businesses with their own company profile.

Companies will also benefit from extensive social media resources available through Marketing Cheshire.

Additionally, Marketing Cheshire will be introducing a new Business Mentoring Programme, which will help to support new and growing businesses. They will receive advice from some of the most successful business people in Cheshire and Warrington as well as regular business news stories including case studies.

Other benefits include access to business leads and free conference/meeting venue finding service, support in sourcing trusted local suppliers and an invitation to the annual Marketing Cheshire Awards Evening.

Supporting the new initiative is Adrian Bull, director of external relations at the National Nuclear Laboratory, said: “As a business with a growing base in Cheshire, we want to raise our profile with potential customers, suppliers, partners, recruits and other stakeholders in the region.

"We also want to strengthen our network of contacts with other Cheshire-based businesses and use these links to mutual advantage. Marketing Cheshire’s Corporate Partnership Scheme is an ideal, cost-effective way for us to do this.”
