FORMER long-standing Johnsons employee Beryl Rogers has been welcomed as a Partner at the Waitrose store in Northwich.
“One of our Partners lived near Beryl, so knew that her role with Johnsons was coming to an end after 24 years,” said Partner co-ordination manager Samantha Helsby.
“We had a vacancy coming up, so she was encouraged to apply. Through the work Waitrose do with Johnsons there was an opportunity for her to train our welcome desk Partners on Johnsons Dry Cleaning service as she was going through the recruitment process.”
Beryl’s line manager, Rachael Oliver said: “Beryl was so helpful in training our Partners on the Johnsons till and their processes and was so friendly with customers that we really wanted to offer her a role.
“She was brilliant at her assessment centre, and it is great to have her here as a Partner.”
