TWO outgoing mayors put their best feet forward to help in a health initiative that is really going places.
Staff at Storengy, in King Street, are taking part in a lunchtime walking challenge and aim to cover 393 miles by the end of this week.
Joining in the fun was among the final mayoral engagements for Cllr Alison Gerrard, from Northwich Town Council, and Cllr Paul Edwards, from Middlewich Town Council.
Teams began the two-week pedometer challenge on May 11 and aim to cover the number of miles between the Northwich Storengy site and its head office in Paris.
They are also raising money for the Northwich branch of the Samaritans.
