BUSINESSWOMAN Tracy Hollinshead is cherishing a bridal trophy after it proved third time lucky at major awards.

Tracy owns Cherish Bridal in Northwich, which won two accolades at the County Brides Wedding Awards ceremony at St George’s Hall in Liverpool.

Tracy received the Bridal Retailer Award for 2015, and the Business of the Year Award for 2015.

She had her fingers crossed that she would go one better this time after being runner-up in the Bridal Retailer category last year after being a finalist the previous year.

Her wish was granted thanks to the support of her customers, who voted for Cherish Bridal on the County Brides website.

Tracy attended the awards evening in Liverpool on June 17 with her husband Andrew, her son Ross and his girlfriend Katie, as well as friends and a number of staff.

“I have never won anything, not even £1 on the lottery or a raffle, and winning these awards is a massive achievement for me,” said Tracy.

“I would like to say a massive thankyou to my customers, as I would not have received the awards without their help and their lovely votes.

“My social media was off the scale on the night of the awards, and in the space of three to four hours I had 5,000 hits.”

Tracy received the Business of the Year award from Duane and Dawn Thornborough, managing directors of County Brides Limited, and the Bridal Retailer award from National Wedding Shows.

The proud businesswoman has displayed the crystal awards in the window of Cherish Bridal, which is in Middlewich Road.
