SPEEDERS and double line parkers in Barnton face action by police.
The warning comes from Police Community Support Officer Diana Wiggins, whose role takes in the Barnton area.
She said local residents had highlighted the issue of drivers speeding on Runcorn Road, and speed enforcement would be carried out.
PCSO Wiggins added: “Residents who continue to park on the double yellow lines around the village – you all know who you are.
“Please be aware of the effect you are having on the community and the congestion you cause around the busy areas.
“There is sufficient parking elsewhere. Enforcement officers patrol the area, and along with myself we will issue parking notices if people are caught.”
The next police surgery is at Barnton Library in Townfield Lane on Saturday, August 8, from 10.30am until midday.
