THE outlook is sunny for Antrobus Village Community Hall thanks to a new solar installation.

TBE Solar and Renewables, a division of TB Electrics, Northwich, carried out the Solar PV installation at the hall.

The company, fully-qualified MCS approved Solar PV installers, has been working with the hall to install a 7.5kw Solar PV system, enabling it to take full advantage of the sun’s energy.

Company director Louise Bennett said: “We’re thrilled to have completed one of our latest projects, and hope the community is happy with the transformation.”

“The 7.5 kWh system was designed to fit on the roof facing 45 degrees from south, and will produce around 6,000 kilowatt hours a year.

“We’re delighted to be supporting our local community through the benefits of solar power.

“With this new design, the solar panels will generate as much electricity as efficiently as possible and improve our community’s carbon footprint.”

Andy Dunkley, hall committee member Andy Dunkley said: “TBE Solar and Renewables has done a fantastic job.

“We can already see the potential return on investment from the installation having already earned an amazing £460. We’re absolutely thrilled with their work.

“We made the decision to install Solar PV panels to reduce the town and community reliance on power from the National Grid.

“Now we can harness the sun’s energy to generate as much electricity as possible.

“It gives us an opportunity to take some positive control over local energy production and create additional income for the hall for the next 20 years, which is just incredible.”
