A WOMAN and a boy were treated for the effects of inhaling smoke from a chip pan fire.
A fire engine from Northwich attended the fire at a house in John Fryer Avenue, off Linnards Lane, Wincham.
Firefighters attended at just after 5pm yesterday, and on arrival they found that the fire had gone out.
The fire crew used special fans to clear smoke from the property, and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service has issued kitchen fire safety advice on its website alongside details of the incident.
