A FORMER Lostock schoolgirl is sharing her infant and junior memories with Remember When readers.

Kath Capper, nee Moore, attended Manchester Road Infant School and Lostock Gralam CE School in the 1950s and '60s.

The headmistress at the school was Miss Buckley and the teachers on the picture were Miss Dean and Mrs Robinson.

The headteacher was Mr Roberts, who Kath described as a wonderful teacher but very strict, and she remembers dinner ladies Miss Bramhall and Mrs Dalton and the playground assistant Mrs Woodward.
