PROJECT manager Mike Burrow will give an update on progress on the Barons Quay development at the Northwich Rotary Special Speaker meeting on Monday, June 6.

The meeting takes place at Winnington Park Recreation Club in Winnington, and will also feature a talk by Chief Inspector Simon Meegan on recent changes to local policing.

People are invited to attend the meeting, which runs from 12.30pm until 2.30pm, with the doors opening at 11.45am.

At 12.30pm MC Nick Marsh will introduce President John Walton to open the meeting and lead-in to lunch Chief Inspector Meegan will speak at 1.15pm, followed by a talk from Mr Burrow at 1.40pm. There will be additional time for questions as required at 2.15pm.

There will be a charge to cover the cost of the two-course buffet luncheon with tea or coffee of £8.50 per person, which is payable on entry, and reservations are being accepted for the luncheon event. The caterers need to know how many people will be attending on the Friday before the event.

Rotary Club speakers secretary Clive Steggel said: “These presentations will spark a lot of interest and questions for the presenters from our knowledgeable audience, so I hope people will be able to attend - please put this in your diaries now.”

If you would like to attend please confirm via email to northwichrotaryss@hotmail.com or contact Clive Steggel or Emma Bantock on 01606 48521 and mention that you wish to book a place.

Please advise if you have any dietary requirements.
