A NORTHWICH property care company took centre stage at a national trade body awards ceremony for its pioneering use of digital technology.

Timberwise, which has its UK headquarters in Northwich, secured the Website of the Year award for a large company at the Property Care Association Awards (PCA).

Judges awarded the accolade to Timberwise for the ease of navigation, mobile optimisation, design and branding of their website

Phil Lund, marketing manager for Timberwise, received the award on behalf of the company.

Stephen Hodgson, Chief Executive of the PCA, said: “The Timberwise website sets the pace in terms of style, structure and content and supports the customer journey throughout.

“It provides the latest industry thinking, news and insight and is an exceptional use of digital space.”

The PCA awards took place at Rectory Farm and marked the end of the association’s annual conference, held at the nearby Møller Centre at the University of Cambridge.

Noted for its training and technical expertise, the PCA has been in formation for more than 85 years.

The trade body represents the UK’s structural repair sector, as well as the structural waterproofing, wood preservation, damp-proofing, flood remediation and invasive weed control industries.
