THE Lion Salt Works Museum is to host family show Boxy and Sticky by Theatr Iolo tomorrow, June 26 at 2.30pm.
Boxy and Sticky, created and directed by Sarah Argent, have delighted young and adult audiences across the UK, and the new play creates a world of play with the simplest of objects, a box and a stick.
Councillor Louise Gittins said: āIām thrilled that this charming and funny theatre piece for children is coming to the Lion Salt Works. It sounds like the audience will be mesmerised by these two mischievous characters.ā
Boxy and Sticky invites the audience into the playful world of two characters revelling in the games familiar to all children.
Their encounters are full of mischief, dressing up, hide and seek and funny wordplay. Gradually, through their playacting and mimicry, they learn that co-operation can make playing together even more fun.
The audience can join in with a play session after the performance based on the play.
Tickets can be purchased at Lion Salt Works 01606 275066 or by visiting www.ticketsource.co.uk/cheshireruraltouringarts
