THE latest drone footage of Barons Quay has been released.

The birds-eye view footage taken in the Northwich skyline shows construction workers hard at work on the £80 million development, which is situated along the River Weaver.

Barons Quay drone videos, which are co-ordinated by Manchester-based Cue Marketing, are released every month to give the public a glimpse into the exciting project.

Barons Quay will include an Asda superstore, Marks and Spencer’s, petrol station and a five-screen Odeon cinema featuring one of the first iSense screens in the UK.

The development will include restaurants, more than 30 retail units, public open space to the River Weaver frontage and parking for 900 vehicles.

Phase one of the development is anticipated to open by winter 2016.

Chris Shaw, clerk for Northwich Town Council, said: "The latest fly through animation is a great way to show the Barons Quay development and what the town of Northwich will look like once all works have been complete.

“The town will be transformed into a place to eat, shop and enjoy and will put Northwich on the map."
