DAVENHAM Ramblers’ next evening walk will be held this Wednesday, July 27, and will be led by Gill Horne.
This will be a hilly walk of about 3.5 miles around Snidley Moor and Woodhouse Hill. Walkers should meet at Beacon Hill car park, Simons Lane, Frodsham WA6 6HE at 7pm.
The next weekend walk will be on Sunday, July 31 and will be led by Mike Holmes. This will be a level walk of about 6.5 miles around Dunham Massey Deer Park and the Bridgewater Canal and will include part of the Trans Pennine Trail.
Walkers should meet at the Bulls Head, Davenham for car share at 10.15am or the Trans Pennine Trail car park at Seamons Road, Altrincham at 11am. Dogs are welcome and walkers should bring a packed lunch.
The annual treasure hunt will be held on Monday, August 8 and will start and end at the Crown Inn, Lower Peover, WA16 7AF
