A GIRL had to be rescued by firefighters in Northwich after trapping her leg in a fence.
Emergency services were called to Carlton Road around 5.50pm on Sunday after a girl became trapped in the skate park in Vickers Way Park.
Firefighters managed to free the girl and she was then looked over by members of the ambulance service.
She did not require any hospital treatment.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “A girl was trapped by her leg in a skate park fence.
“Firefighters used specialist cutting gear to release the casualty who was then checked over by ambulance personnel.”
