A FEAST of inspirational dishes cooked live on stage will showcase local produce at the Royal Cheshire County Show.

A line-up of award-winning chefs has been announced for this year’s event on June 18 and 19.

Michelin-starred chef Jean-Christophe Novelli, winner of BBC MasterChef Shelina Permaloo and Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon, will be among a host of culinary experts sharing their favourite recipes.

Visitors can watch culinary masters create delicious dishes using fresh, local ingredients at Roberts Bakery Food Live Theatre.

Chef Brian Mellor will host the event as well as demonstrating his own skills and passion for Cheshire produce.

Jean-Christophe Novelli and Samia, who won ITV's ‘Cooking with the Stars’ last year will be recreating some of their tasty recipes from the show.

The pair will also spill the beans on cooking and Corrie during an engaging Q&A session MasterChef winner Shelina Permaloo will be showcasing her passion and skill inspired by her roots with a take on modern Mauritian street food.

Since winning the coveted trophy in 2012, Shelina has become a regular judge on the show and appeared on TV in This Morning, Sunday Brunch, Lorraine and Saturday Kitchen.

Other top chefs on stage includeTom Ince, head chef at The Refuge in Manchester, Sean Noonan, former chef at Cottons Hotel, Knutsford and now head chef at Mitton Hall Hotel, Jake Boyce, head chef at Groobarbs Field Kitchen and Adie Munt from The Monastery in Manchester.

Woody Barlow from Bear Inns will be demonstrating with his head chefs from The Swan Tarporley and The Lion Malpas showcasing some tasty food and wine pairings.

In addition to the live demonstrations, visitors can explore various food and drinks on show.

From artisanal cheeses and cured meats to mouthwatering baked goods and fresh local produce, there will be something to tantalise every taste bud.

“From Michelin-starred brilliance to the vibrant flavours of Mauritian street food, there's something for every palate to discover. “This, along with the return of a show favourite Jean-Christophe Novelli and Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon, this year promises to be a truly unforgettable culinary experience at the Royal Cheshire County Show."

This year’s show promises to be a feast for the senses, offering visitors the chance to discover new flavours, learn from culinary experts, and indulge in delicious treats.

On Tuesday, June 18, the showground stays open until 10 pm for ‘Late at the Show’.

This vibrant evening event features live music by Boyzlife, dancing, food stalls, bars, a children's fairground, face painting, craft stalls, picnic areas, a tug-of-war competition and a polo match.
