Pace ace Burns was a wanted man when it became known he was after a move away from FC United.
Vics beat off Blue Square Premier rivals Altrincham and Droylsden to sign the striker at the beginning of the January transfer window.
Before that he had netted eight times in 14 appearances for the Rebels after parting company with Cardiff City in October 2007.
Spent a month on loan at Droylsden at the start of the current campaign following a disappointing pre-season, but made a goalscoring return to earn Vics their first win against Barrow in September.
