STRIKER Scott Bakkor has been told he can leave Witton after being placed on the transfer list by Tony Sullivan.

In a statement, Albion today accused the 20-year-old of breaking the terms of his contract more than once.

“Following several breaches of club discipline, Scott Bakkor has been transfer-listed,” it reads.

“Every player agrees to a code of conduct when he signs, the terms of which cover all aspects of behaviour on and off the pitch.”

The forward will not be included in Albion’s squad for tonight’s Premier Division encounter with Halesowen.

Nor is he likely to feature again in a team for which he has scored three times this season.

He has twice as many bookings, and has already served a suspension.

Witton, who did not wish to comment further on their decision, will attempt to recover – at least in part – a fee they paid to Division One North club Clitheroe for the Warrington-based front man’s services at the end of last year.

He went on to score four times as Albion avoided relegation from the Northern Premier League’s top flight.

“We take, and will continue to, player discipline very seriously,” concludes the statement.
