THE line-up for the Mid-Cheshire Super League's top flight has been decided after the latest round of qualifying group matches.

Wolves, Crusaders and Lemmings have to settle for a spot in the second tier despite spirited displays.

Mike Price won two of his three matches for Wolves in a narrow defeat against Cobras, while Ryan Ratcliffe and Steve Peach claimed two victories each as Crusaders lost to Tigers by the same margin.

Lemmings could do nothing to stop Leopards from recording an eighth successive win.

Three teams - Valiants, Winsford and Bears - are battling for two remaining places in Division Two.

They are separated by two points with one round left, during which all three will play teams below them in the standings.

Winsford drew with Bears this week, while Valiants recorded a whitewash of Middlewich High School.

Blades made sure of their spot in Division Two by thrashing Snakes, while leaders Hawks needed only two men - Geoff Ikin and Dave Motherwell - to see off Vikings.

Rangers enjoyed a night off after their scheduled opponents, Falcons, conceded.
