THERE will be no repeat of Rudheath Social’s final-reaching run this season as they slumped out of the Cheshire FA Amateur Cup at the third-round stage.
The visitors paid the price as they failed to turn a large amount of possession into chances at Villa Park.
Ashville went in front when Ryan Smith netted from the penalty spot and Paul Smith netted the second five minutes after the break.
Craig Millington thumped the post for Rudheath late on but the Cheshire League side could not find the breakthrough.
