HAYLEY Holmes inspired Northwich Sapphires to a second successive win in the Warrington and District League’s top flight on Wednesday.
After starting the summer season with a victory over Warrington Town thirds, they ran out 42-35 victors against Greenbank.
Holmes was picked as player of the match at Hope Academy.
Northwich meet Halton Pearlz, also unbeaten after the campaign’s first fortnight, in their next fixture.
In Division One, Sapphires’ seconds played out a thrilling 20-20 draw with their Halton counterparts.
Erin Rafferty was chosen as the best performer on court.
Sapphires’ thirds lost 23-11 against Beechwood fourths in Division Four.
