WINNINGTON Park maintained third place in the North Two West by defeating Bolton 23-13 away from home on Saturday.
Straight from the get-go, Park looked the stronger side and were 10-0 up after the first quarter.
Cam Flanagan scored a penalty on five minutes before Alex Glendinning notched up the first try of the match, which was converted by Flanagan.
Although Bolton hit back with a penalty on 21 minutes, Park continued to dominate and Glendinning tore away from the defence nine minutes later to score his second try of the encounter, with Flanagan converting to make it 17-3.
Bolton reduced the deficit with a converted try just before half-time, and then scored a penalty at the start of the second half to haul themselves back into contention.
But Park kept up the pressure, and they capitalised on Bolton having a man sent to the sin bin when Flanagan slotted home a penalty on 65 minutes to make it 20-13.
The game was wrapped up with another Flanagan penalty seven minutes from time as Park avenged the home defeat that Bolton inflicted on them earlier in the season.
